Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry during hearing of Haris Steel Mills fraud case Saturday remarked that protection of the public money is national responsibility of the court. The court issued red warrants of the former president of the Bank of Punjab Himesh Khan, Haris Steel Mills owner Khwaja Haris and his son Afzal Haris. Deputy Attorney General Shah Khawar informed the court that FIA has traced the whereabouts of the accused after issuance of red warrants against them, adding that Himesh Khan was traced in United States while other two accused have shifted to Malaysia. The court adjourned the case till September 3rd after Deputy Attorney General requested to the bench for more time for arrest of the accused persons.
