NWFP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour has said that the ban imposed by Punjab on supply of wheat flour to the NWFP is an act of 'cruelty. 'Had it been in our power, we would have stopped supply of electricity to Punjab, he reacted. Bilour was talking to mediamen on the eve of opening of Ghani Bagh in Peshawar. Bashir Bilour called upon the Peshawar High Court judges to remain within the limits of their powers. 'If judges have keeness for politics, they should come into the field of politics. However, we are not afraid of any legal suit, he said. He alleged that supply of flour from Punjab to NWFP is stopped in every Ramazan. 'People of Punjab are our brothers, but we cant keep silent on flour supply stoppage. In reply to a question, he said that NWFP Government would do everything to protect the people from terrorism. He said that TNSM Chief Sufi Muhammad must get punishment according to law, but he had not been sued under 16 MPO so that the govt might get time to register a case of rebellion against him. He said that measures were being taken to check the price-hike and reduce prices which had already hiked by 25 per cent.
