PESHAWAR (APP) - The suicide bomber blew himself up after exchange of firing with police in Kohat district on Friday evening, an official of Kohat police said. The bomber detonated himself after he failed to break the police cordon at Mohallah Bibi Pakdaman in the limits of City police station. The police on tip off chased the outlaw and asked him to surrender. Instead the accused entered into a house of one Inyatullah Khan and took position in a room. Later he detonated himself with explosive. Police have started investigation. Our Staff Reporter from Swat adds: The security forces has arrested three terrorists from Fateh Poor Check Post while six houses of militants were demolished in Koza Bandi area during a search operation. The security forces also consolidated their position in Banjot, Telegram Shenban and established two more check posts there. The sources added that beside the three commanders, the security forces had also arrested notorious militants commander Haider, the most wanted to the security forces in cases of slaughtering and kidnapping of women. Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) confirmed the arrest of commander Haider, however, they did not mention that from where he was apprehended. While District Swat police has completed all arrangements and deployed extra police personnel in each police station in order to maintain the law and order situation and keep vigilant eye on profiteers and hoarders. Addressing at a press conference, District Police Officer Swat Qazi Farooq said that more than 600 police personnel would be deployed in Swat. He further said that police had collected the data of all prayer-leaders of the district and whenever any foreign prayer-leader was found in the mosque, he would be punished as per 14 foreign act. He added that beside the law and order situation they had also devised strategy to deal with profiteers and hoarders. He said that the curfew schedule would be relaxed to facilitate the masses during the holy month of Ramzan.
