ISLAMABAD The second leg of the ongoing Islamabad Premier League (IPL) Tenpin Bowling will get underway from Monday (tomorrow) here at F-9 Park Bowling Alley. As many as 24 bowlers of the capital city are competing in the event that will commence from August 16 at the same venue. In the final stage, eight bowlers will show their muscles in the 40 games as the top performer will lift the title. Ijaz-ur-Rehman, Saleem Baig, Khalid Butt, Zafar Iqbal, Alishah, Afzal, Saqib and Aftab have completed their first 20 games in which Saleem amassed 3,721 points while Ijaz aggregated 3,680 points. The next leg of 20 games will start from August 23. The league is being held under the banner of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) and the Islamabad Bowling Association (IBA) jointly. It is the first ever occasion that the PTBF and the IBA has taken the initiative to introduce the league bowling in Pakistan.
