It was at least heartening to see the sitting PM displaying only our dear Jinnah's portrait on the wall. It was quite sickening to see the portraits of Benazir or her father along with Quaid-i-Azam in the last five years whenever any party’s leader was addressing the nation. As a Pakistani, the most embarrassing moment was when the sitting President had his dead spouses’ photograph placed on the podium while addressing the members of the United Nations! But we would like to thank our present Prime Minister for not displaying any pictures behind him especially of those who helped him rise to power such as General Zia ul Haq's.
