GOVT PLAYING DOUBLE GAME: PTI
The government is playing double game under the garb of talks and not serious in pursuing result-oriented dialogue, said PTI senior leader, Ishaq Khakwani.
Expressing his opinion over suspended PTI-government talks on Thursday, he said that his party Chairman by giving a chance to government for the sake of democracy directed party’s second-line leadership to hold talks with the ruling party team with six demands but the government actions established the fact that they were not serious in resolving the issues.
He said that by Thursday morning almost the entire city of Islamabad was sealed by placing restrictions on the free movement of incoming and outgoing citizens much beyond the so called Red-Zone, besides blocking inter-City movement in entire Punjab. The police have arrested PTI workers and party leaders from twin cities and which were coming to the Federal capital from other cities of Punjab.
He said that under the circumstances, PTI feels that this was in fact to punish the people who demonstrate their free will.
Khakwani demanded of the government to unseal Islamabad and Register FIRs against PML-N workers and office-bearers involved in the attack on the house of PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Multan.
