KARACHI - Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari will return to country on Saturday.

Sources within the PPP told that the former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will reach Karachi on Saturday night, after which he will be holding meetings with party members in Islamabad from Monday.

The PPP co-chairman will preside meetings pertaining to local body (LB) elections in Punjab and Sindh and devise his party’s strategy in this regard. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also be accompanied teh former president in the entire process.

PPP members say that the mobilizing the party and the role of opposition are seen as major challenges by the PPP leadership in present context.
