LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has urged the masses to join his Qisas movement in order to purge corruption from the country, a private TV channel reported yesterday.

Addressing his supporters, Qadri urged students, doctors, professors, the women and old people to join his protest movement against the federal government. He said that his movement had given strength to people to come out against the unjust rulers.

“The public should come out onto the streets and grab the collars of our rulers. Qisas movement is the key to ending corruption in the country,” he stated.

Dr Qadri further said that the PAT workers had given sacrifices in the past and were still doing the same. “It was our agenda to change the unjust system in the country. Our movement is to expose the elements who are enemies of the state.

“We want governance according to the law of Pakistan in the real sense,” he added.

Qadri also reminded the masses that there was no good in crying about the problem of loadshedding from inside one's home.
