LAHORE - Pakistan Wapda and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) won their respective matches in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at Qasim Bagh Football Stadium, Multan. In the first match, Pakistan Wapda defeated Pakistan Air Force by 2-1. Wapda was leading by 1-0 goal against Pakistan Air Force at the end of the first half. In the 9th minute of the first half, Adnan Saeed scored first goal for Wapda and Maaz ur Rehman doubled the margin in the 79th. In the 87th minute, Pakistan Air Force awarded a penalty kick against Pakistan Wapda, Mansoor Khan netted the ball successfully and reduced the margin 2-1. At the end of the scheduled times, Wapda were enjoying 2-1 lead against Pakistan Air Force. Referee Ahmed Rauf supervised the match while Mehboob Ali and Majid Khan assisted him. Shaafat Habib acted as match commissioner. The second match was played between Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), where the former emerged as winners with a score of 1-0. In the 26th minute of the first half, Suhail scored the lone goal for PCAA. SSGC’s players tried to equalize the game but could not succeed. This match was supervised by Adnan Anjum while Dilawar Khan and Nadeem Butt assisted him. The league match between Karachi United and Muslim Club Chaman will be played today (Sunday).
