The KESC did not resort to loadshedding during the Eid holidays and other such occasions like the Pakistan Day and the Independence Day etc. Moharram-ul-Harram is, likewise, a period of great solemnity for a very large number of Muslims of our country. But it lasts from the first of Moharram to the ninth of Rabi-ul-Awwal. I propose the KESC should not resort to loadshedding during this period either as it would impinge upon the religious sensibilities of a lot of us. -SYEDA ULYA EHSEN, Lahore, December 18.
