LAHORE The family members of Habib Ullah Warraich, the prime accused in National Insurance Company scandal on Tuesday contacted FIA authorities and made an offer to deposit Rs 100 million immediately besides assuring to pay the remaining amount through cheques. Official sources claimed that FIA had issued summons to wife and daughters of Habib Ullah Warraich and decided to include them in the investigation of the case. However, the family contacted FIA and gave assurance to deposit a sum of Rs 100m and the rest of the amount through cheques. so that they would not be included in the investigation process. It may be recalled that Mohsin Warraich son of Habib Ullah Warraich has fled to London and FIA has frozen his bank accounts of one million dollars. FIA had also received information that wife and daughters of Habib Ullah Warraich were also holding accounts in different banks and Habib Ullah Warraich and his son Mohsin Warraich had deposited money into these accounts.
