3 women among 8 killed separately

Eight persons including three women were killed in different incidents of violence, enmity and mishaps over the past 24 hours.
According to details, in Jhang, two labourers were killed in a mishap that took place in Chak 37/JB Shorkot here the other day.
The mishaps occurred when a sugarcane-laden tractor-trolley overturned on the bank of Jubilee Canal near Chak 37/JB. Resultantly two persons identified as Malik Fiaz and his unidentified colleague died on the spot while Ameen and Bashir sustained serious injuries and were admitted to Rafique Airbase Hospital Shorkot.
Similarly in another incident, two unidentified alleged culprits gunned down a person in Ahmedpur Sial. As per details, Muhammad Saleem, son of Muhammad Akram was on the way to court for hearing of a murder case and when he reached near Ahmedpur Sial Police Station, two motorcycle-born assailants let off a volley of gunshots on him. Resultantly he sustained critical wounds and was taken to THQ Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Ahmedpur Sial Police have launched investigation into the incident.
In another mishap which took place in Mauza Mazari situated in the remit of Qadirpur Police, a man gunned down his sister. As per reports, Tahira Bibi was married off to her cousin Asghar but the couple failed to develop a cordial relation and she settled with her parents. But her brother Afzal Khan forced her to return to her husband but she refused. At which Afzal flared up and gunned down her sister while throw her dead body into Jhelum River. The dead body could not be recovered yet. On the application of deceased’s brother Azmat Khan the police have registered a case against Afzal.
Meanwhile, a 65-year-old man died when branch of a tree fell over him. According to available reports, one Hayat Muhammad, son of Bholi, a resident of Faiz de Pulli was in fields under a tree when suddenly a heavy branch of tree fell over him. Resultantly he sustained critical wounds and breathed his last on the spot.
On the other hand, a motorcyclist lost life in a mishap due to a fog. Reportedly, milk-seller Muhammad Khan Hinjra, a resident of Adda Maqsood wali Pulli situated on Jhang-Chiniot Road was on the way to distribute milk to his clients. When he reached main road a truck ran him over due to dense fog. Resultantly he died on the spot. Meanwhile, the family forgave the truck driver.
In Toba Tek Singh, a man was killed and six others injured in a clash between two football teams during a match in Chak 660/1GB on Saturday. Deceased Nasir received bullet wounds while the injured were hit by sticks during the clash. They were shifted to Pirmahal THQ Hospital.
In another incident, a man killed his wife in Basti Khanjawan near Pirmahal the other day.
Accused Ashiq and deceased Musarat quarrelled over some issue at which he axed her to death. The police have arrested the accused.
Meanwhile, in Mandi Bahauddin, a 22-year-old girl was killed when a gun went off accidentally. According to details, a family of Mandi Bahauddin had gone to Faisalabad to meet their relatives. The other day cousin of the girl was cleaning gun when it went off and hit the girl who died on the spot. The aggrieved parents termed the occurrence as accidental.
