Condemning the Peshawar terrorists attack, Federal Minister for Water & Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif and former minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the nation including all the political parties were united to quell terrorism.
Talking to the party workers at PML-N House Paris Road Sialkot, Kh Asif said the nation is ready to make any sacrifice in order to eliminate the menace along with the armed forces of Pakistan. The federal minister said that the government was committed to weeding out terrorism and taking all the steps to uproot terrorism from the country.
He then listened to public complaints and assured them early solution to their problems. He also issued on the spot orders for relief on several application.
Meanwhile, the former federal minister for information paid rich tributes to the students and teachers who were martyred in barbaric terrorist attack on APS Peshawar. She said that they sacrificed their lives for the sake of education and the martyred students have become role models for others who are getting education and fighting against terrorism.
She was talking to newsmen at Sialkot Press Club. The PPP leader also light candles in the memory of the Peshawar martyrs and strongly condemned the brutal killing.
She added that the morale of the nation is high against terrorism, as the whole nation stands united against terrorism. She added that the nation was ready to sacrifice even their lives while battling against terrorism. She said that bold steps by the government had become vital to crush the terrorists.
UCs fail to collect tenants’ data: The secretaries of all the 129 urban and rural union councils in Sialkot remained failed in collecting the data of tenants in their respective union councils.
The Punjab government has given a special task to the UC secretaries of collecting and compiling the fresh data of the people living in rented building. The administration said that all the owners of the rented buildings have been made bound not to rent out their properties to unknown people. Do complete verification of the people intending to get houses on rent, it said. The administration head added that the owners of the houses had also been directed to ensure rent deed before putting their houses on rent along with and do submit an attested copy of the rent deed at their union council and police station concerned.
