DASKA- The wife of a journalist was fighting for life after she was injured during a robbery when the couple was on their way to home in Daska tehsil here on Sunday.
Saima Zeeshan, wife of Zeeshan Shamsi, suffered bullet injuries during the dacoity at village Peero Chak-Motra. Some unknown dacoits intercepted them near village Peero Chak-Motra Daska and looted valuables, jewelry, cash worth thousands of rupees and shot at Saima on resistance. Shamsi is a reporter of News One TV.
Rescue 1122 shifted her to Sialkot CMH Hospital from local Civil Hospital as she was in critical condition and was unconscious till filing of the report.
