SARGODHA - Commissioner Sargodha Nabil Javed on Tuesday said the Ehsaas Ration Programme was a revolutionary initiative of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. Addressing a review meeting on Ehsaas Ration Programme, the commissioner urged the deputy commissioners of the division to play their role for the registration of as many shopkeepers as possible to provide facilities of ration to masses. He directed the ACs to hold an immediate meeting with Anjuman-e-Tajiran in their respected tehsils and ensure registration of at least 20 shops in their jurisdictions. The meeting was informed that accounts of registered shopkeepers for the said programme would be opened in National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and their commission would be transferred to their accounts within 48 hours. “The registered deserving people of ration programme will be given a discount on flour, pulses and ghee oil.” he added. Deputy Commissioners of all four districts and officers of NBP were also present in the meeting.
