Rahim Yar Khan - The FIAhas arrested a bank manager and a travel agent involved in illicit trading of foreign currency through “hundi” and “hawala” and.both have long been involved in illegal foreign exchange trading.
According to the details, Sub-Inspector Masrat Ayub of FIA Bahawalpur alongwith his staff arrested on Tuesday Mehr Abdul Latif and Bank manager Jam Muhammad Tariq who were involved in illegal trading of foreign currency through travel agency and money exchange.
The FIA took the both into custody and transferred them to the FIA Center for further investigation. The FIA also recovered mobile phones and foreign currency from the accused. A case was registered against them and action was initiated.
