PM Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has assured Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on phone that the federal government would not be party in any undemocratic move for destabilization of the Punjab government. The prime minister told Shahbaz Sharif that in the backdrop of the present situation and statements, PML(N)'s apprehensions were not correct. The prime minister further said that actions in haste and without giving enough thoughts could harm the political parties. He also exchanged views with Chief Minister Punjab on the overall prevalent situation in the country.
