Supreme Court Monday adjourned hearing of Haris Steel Mills case till February 26, a private TV reported. Chief Justice Iftikhar Ahmed during hearing of the Haris Steel case forbid National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to take commissions. During hearing the CJP remarked that the Finance Division could not confer power to a department or an individual to confiscate money or property. The CJP questioned why NAB officials receiving commissions, were they not paid salaries? "If NAB have to take commissions, they should open an agency and do not receive salaries," the Chief Justice said. "No law of the land allows NAB to demand 25 percent commission."
