LAHORE In the 4th InfoTech golf tournament conducted at the par-72, Royal Palm Golf Course, the participating competitors were 105 but those who managed to win accolades and acclaim were just 10, with Shoaib Bokhari winning the best gross and Azfar Hassan holding on to the runners up slot. For the other aspirants, the whole effort and the outing was heart breaking, as their scores reflected a pitiable level, caused by some extremely poor hitting off the tees and faulty work on the greens most of these poor performers are certainly capable of producing better scores and reflecting explosive strength in their shot making, yet on this particular occasion the shot making ability seemed to be experiencing chronic difficulties. The winner Shoaib Bokhari was a man who successfully carved his way through the fairways on this undulating 18 holes golf course, his round of gross 80 not too spectacular, but practical all the same, for its utility. Azfar Hassan won the second gross with a round of gross 82. In the net section, the top performers were Saif Hassan, net 68 and Faisal Hassan, also net 68 but allotted the runners up position because Saif had a better score of the back nine. The invitational section winners were Fawad Baig (gross first), Mustafa Rafi (gross second), Ibrahim Qureshi (Winner Net) and Kamran Nagi (Net Second). Nearest to the pin winner was Ahmed Faizan and longest drive was won by Azfar Hassan. At the conclusion of the tournament, Naseer Akhtar, CEO, InfoTech awarded prizes to the winners.
