Netherlands sets target of 293 runs for England

Dutch captain Peter Borren won the toss and chose to bat first and set a massive target of 293 runs for England to win the match being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur. Netherlands put a huge total due to fantastic century of Doeschate who scored 119 runs. TLW Cooper made 47 runs and TN Grooth scored 28 runs. Dutch captain Borren made 35 runs. On the other hand, English spinner Graeme Swann who made his comeback took 2 wickets and Broad also grabbed 2 wickets. No English bowler could create any hurdles for the Dutch batsmen. The Dutch side will try to repeat the performance of 2009 when the side defeated England in the opening thriller of the T20 World Cup. Both teams have met twice in ODIs and the English side remained victorious on both occasions. But this could be the first upset of the World Cup 2011.
