According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan 91% of Pakistanis say recent Price Hike in Petrol and Diesel has directly affected them either severely (65%) or moderately (26%).
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked the government recently increased prices of Petrol and diesel, how much will it affect your household budget? Responding to this 65% claimed that their lives have been severely affected by the increased prices of petrol and diesel, 26% claim to be moderately affected, 5% slightly affected whereas 3% claimed not to be affected at all. However 1% did not give a view.
