LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given approval to establish a state-of-the-art PCR laboratory at Lahore General Hospital at a cost of Rs 5.7 million.

Chairing a meeting held here Tuesday to review preparation against dengue, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Prof Tariq Salahuddin said dengue was a social problem which could be solved better through holding seminars, workshops and dissemination of information through pamphlets. Medical Superintendent LGH Dr Muhammad Hassan and other administrative doctors and nurses attended the meeting.
