At least three persons were killed in a roadside bomb blast here in Bara on Wednesday. According to security sources, unknown miscreants had planted a bomb by roadside in Sipah area of Bara, Khyber Agency which exploded with a big bang killing two passersby on the spot and injuring another. The injured person was shifted to local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds making the death toll to three. The political administration said that to maintain law and order in the area, curfew has been imposed in Datakhel, Razmak, Dousili, Mir Ali and Bannu Road areas for indefinite time period. Meanwhile, Political Agent in Wana, South Waziristan Agency (SWA) Muhammad Javed Marwat has summoned the grand jirga of Ahmed Zai and Wazir Tribe.

The 120-member Jirga would represent all the nine tribes of the agency and key issues relating to law and order in the area, armed attacks on security checkpost and convoys would come under discussion during the grand jirga.
