QUETTA - Four people, including two women, were killed in separate incidents of firing in Balochistan on Tuesday.

Police said accused Muhammad Afzal fired shots at his wife and mother-in-law in Pishin, killing them. Police moved the bodies to hospital for autopsy. Later, the bodies were handed over to the heirs. Police cited domestic dispute as the motive behind the killing.

In another incident, a man was killed in Bagh area of Bolan.

Jara Khan was on his way near Gott Jalal Khan when accused Raja Khan attacked him.

In Quetta, unidentified kidnappers shot dead a trader. According to police, kidnappers fired shots at a noted trader, Zohib Bora, when he resisted their abduction bid, killing him on the spot. The incident took place outside his shop on Mission Road. Police rushed to the site and moved the body to hospital.

Following the incident, shopkeepers closed down their shops and torched tyres to protest against the killing. They chanted slogans against the administration and demanded the authorities concerned ensure protection to the citizens.
