PESHAWAR - Chief Executive Officer TESCO Pervez Khankhel Swati has asked officials of the company to ensure the set target of recovery from government and private consumers, otherwise strict action would be taken against the officers failing in achieving the targets.

He said that he would pay visits to various field offices twice a month to monitor their performance and issue guideline for bringing improvement in their services.  

Addressing a high-level meeting of TESCO officers here at WAPDA House Peshawar on Thursday, he said that the only target assigned to the field formations is the improvement in recovery and strict action would be taken against the officers failing to achieve the set targets.

He directed for installation of meters to all government connections in FATA by 30th of next month besides recovering all outstanding arrears.

He asked the higher authorities of the company to increase recovery from private and government consumers to achieve the set targets.

The Chief Executive Officer reviewed individual performance of each Division and Sub-Division under TESCO and directed to overcome the shortcomings in the matters pertaining to dues recovery.

He said that all-out efforts were required for the company in bringing down line losses within 20 per cent to improve the performance of the company.

The meeting was attended by Director General Human Resources, all Superintending Engineers, XENs and SDOs Operation of the company.
