LAHORE – Post Graduate Medical Institute / Lahore General Hospital employees Thursday took out a protest rally against the murder of Prof Ali Haider and his son.  The rally was led by institute’s Principal Prof Dr Anjum Habib Vohra and participated by a number of senior doctors, faculty members, nurses and paramedics of the college.  Medical Teachers Association Lahore President Dr Tanveer Anwar and other office-bearers also participated in the rally, which was started from the institute and concluded at its starting point after protesting on the Ferozepur Road.  The protesters demanded of the chief minister to launch investigations into the murder case of the senior eye surgeon on scientific lines.  Meanwhile, a condolence reference was also organised at the LGH Auditorium to pay tributes to the slain doctor.
