LAHORE - District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal directed the committee members and head of different departments to submit their reports and details of work-charge employees till Sunday.

Presiding over a meeting regarding regularisation of work-charge employees at Town Hall Thursday, the DCO said the work-charge employees would be regularised according to rules and regulations.

The meeting was attended by ADC (G) Asfand Yar Baloch, DO (HRM), PSO to Administrator Mian Waheed and other concerned officers.

ALERT: The DCO directed all the Town Administrations and other concerned departments to be alert during current rains in the City. He directed officials of WASA, TMA, LWMC and other concerned departments to sewer the Thursday’s rainwater and in future rains they will not leave the field before drainage of rainwater.  He said all the Administrators and TMOs were bound to monitor the drainage process. He appealed the citizens to drain out rainwater from their house and roofs and properly look after the old buildings.

PLANTATION DRIVE: Mengal said the CDGL would plant more than 7 lac plants in the City during the spring season.

Earlier, District Officer (Forest) briefed the DCO about the spring plan of CDGL’s forest department. On the occasion, the DCO said the CDGL would plant plants of flowers and fruits in schools and colleges of the City. He appealed the citizens to take part in plantation campaign, starting from Friday (today).
