PESHAWAR - A 10th grade student of Peshawar Army Public School (APS) succumbed to his injuries at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here on Saturday.

Ishaq Amin was injured in an attack on Army Public School on December 16.

Family sources said he had received bullets in head and hand and admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar.  The death toll of the carnage now stands at 144, with 132 students among the dead.

The APS Peshawar was attacked by defunct Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on December 16. The carnage had jolted not only Pakistan but the whole world. Another brother of Ishaq Amin has been shifted to Agha Khan Hospital where he is being treated for abdominal injuries. Both the brothers were seriously injured in the attack, however, Ishaq Amin succumbed to his injuries in Combined Military Hospital Peshawar.

The funeral prayer of the martyred student will be offered at Nothia Baghi ground.

It is pertinent to mentioned here that APS attack was claimed by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan led by Mullah Fazlullah commonly known as Mullah Radio.

Agencies add: Waqar, brother of deceased student, said Ishaq was shot in the head and face during the deadly attack had been in critical condition since then.

Ten children and a teacher injured in the Army Public School attack in Peshawar had landed in Karachi on Wednesday to seek further treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi.
