KARACHI
The FPCCI has arranged a demonstration to unveil its plan for ‘Economic Revival of Pakistan’ on Monday at FPCCI’s offices in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad simultaneously.
The year 2015 has been declared as ‘The Year of Revival of Pakistan Economy’ by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and it has also recommended to the government to do the same, said FPCCI statement issued here.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has tasked the FPCCI President to prepare recommendations in this respect which would be discussed with the Prime Minister in a meeting to be held shortly. In its continuation, the FPCCI has prepared a plan for the revival of economy, it said.
Leading thinkers, economists, and experts in commerce and industry will participate in the presentation and the FPCCI’s plan for the economic revival of Pakistan will be finalised after incorporating their suggestions and inputs.
President FPCCI, Mian Muhammad Adrees has mentioned that in the presentation we will explain the history and changing patterns of regional and global economic development, and then we will discuss the possibilities of accelerated growth in the economy of Pakistan.
Explaining the present economic scenario of Pakistan, he said there is no need to repeatedly highlight and debate on the economic miseries of the peoples in Pakistan.
“Now, we should take the responsibilities to solve the economic issues with the help of government,” he added.
He assured that his team will support all efforts made by the government to revive the economic growth of Pakistan.
He mentioned that the marginal ups and downs in economic indicators do not provide a sustainable solution. Such minor ups and downs cannot change our global placing in economic ranking. The present deteriorated infrastructure hinders the fast track of development of the country. In the present economic scenario, it has become extremely necessary to develop a strategic plan to build a fast track of economic development of the country, FPCCI President said.
