The present government has failed in all spheres of life due to imprudent policies and worst governance. The era of Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf was a golden period in history of Pakistan wherein the country made great strides in all walks of life and people saw prosperity.

All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Southern Punjab General Secretary Dr Farrukh Cheema stated this while addressing a workers convention at the residence of APML Vehari district general secretary Mian Muhammad Imran Mitroo here in Village Mari Mitroo the other day.

He criticised the incumbent rulers, saying that Sharif Brothers were running the country like Ittefaq foundry, regretting that many an important national departments were running without heads since the government had come to power.

The APML leader charged that the PML-N government had broken all records of nepotism which was evident from the fact that relatives and blue-eyed boys of the rulers were running several departments at a time.

Dr Cheema pointed out that despite record reduction in the POL prices, the rates of daily-used items had witnessed upward trend instead of decrease, adding that it stood testimony to the fact that the government had failed to run affairs of the country.

He accused that Sharif brothers had paid Rs5,000 tax in the country while paid billions in foreign country in shape of businesses taxes. The APML leader alleged that unprecedented corruption of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari was a glaring fact, adding that 11 years rule of Pervez Musharraf was spotless period wherein nobody could found corruption of even a penny.
