KARACHI- Former president Pervez Musharraf says that Pakistan’s future does not lie in ‘status quo’ but in ‘change’. “Even if Pakistan’s constitution is standing in Pakistan's progress, it should be amended,” he stressed during an event in Karachi.

Musharraf said that “change” was the topmost demand of the oppressed people of Pakistan.

According to our sources, he also came down hard on the militancy in the name of Islam. “Militants are slaughtering innocent people only because people don’t accept the distorted version of Islam,” he concluded.
