PTI Senior Vice President Malik Ameen Aslam has said that his party is making drastic changes and enforcing reforms in KPK province to ensure justice and serve the masses at grassroots level.

He was talking to newsmen at a gathering arranged by PTI America office-bearer Muhammad Arif Naqvi. He said that under the leadership of Imran Khan, the KPK province would soon be developed as different projects of electricity generation and environment-related schemes were being undertaken.

He added that different projects of electricity generation were being started while under the Green KPK programme, more than 1 billion trees would be planted. He said that six parks would be built in Peshawar City while solid waste management projects will also be started. He said that action against timber mafia was being taken and its ample proof is that timber worth Rs10 billion had been ceased and penalties are being imposed on those involved in timber smuggling while 15 officials of Forest Department have been suspended.

He condemned the horse-trading for Senate seats. Talking about the recent terrorist attacks on Imambargahs, he said that the enemies of Pakistan wanted to create sectarian hatred in the country through such attacks.

He criticised the PML-N government, saying that it had badly failed in giving relief to the masses. To a question, he said that all the parties had given mandate to the federal government in connection with NAP and now it is the duty of the government to implement it fully to root out terrorism from the country.

On the occasion, MPA Ejaz Bokhari and PTI North Region President Malik Taimoor Aslam were also present.
