HANGU/PESHAWAR - The security forces arrested a terrorist who had reportedly prepared suicide jackets for the Army Public School attackers, in Doaba area of district Hangu on Saturday.

Being tipped off, the security forces raided a house in Doaba and asked Baseer to surrender. The terrorist in a bid to flee ran towards the nearby mountains. However, the troops overpowered him after a little chase.

Baseer is said to be a supplier of suicide jackets, landmine devices and remote control bombs to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. The provincial home department had fixed Rs 500,000 as head money on his arrest. Sources said that his two brothers identified Abdul Haseeb and Fazal are also working for the banned outfit.

Meanwhile an ISPR statement said that four terrorists were arrested in Razmak area during security forces search operation. Two terrorists were arrested from Razmak Bazaar and two others were arrested from the suburb areas of North Waziristan Agency.

The arrested persons have been shifted to forces headquarter where they are being interrogated.
