Punjab Police distributed breakfast to visually impaired protesters today morning, who are holding a sit-in at Mall road since the past four days.
On Facebook, Lahore Police Official page has posted pictures where police personnel can be seen distributing food and drinks to the sit-in protesters.
This move by the police was greatly appreciated on social media.
The visually impaired protesters have demanded the authorities to fix a quota for government employment. They have vowed that the sit-in will continue till their demands have been accepted.
The protest from the past four days has annoyed the commuters who have to stand in long queues for hours due to severe traffic jam.
