ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chief Asif Ali Zardari at his residence, agreed to give tough time to the incumbent government. Both the leaders discussed the number game and agreed to go for no confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan through initiating contacts and mobilizing the government allies. A senior leader of JUI on the condition of anonymity told The Nation that both Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Asif Ali Zardari agreed to convince the opposition parties quell all the confusion among the opposition ranks. The leader stated that the meeting of both leaders was a vital one as it will narrow down distance between all the opposition parties and will bring all the parties on same page. While answering a question, the JUI leader said that all the parties had shown their confidence over the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying that this was the reason that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was given the lead role in fight against the Imran Khan government. It must be noted that former President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Lahore today (Tuesday) and will host a dinner in the honour of the Opposition leader Mian Shehbaz Sharif in Bilawal House.
