LALAMUSA - A special police team succeeded in arresting all the alleged eight accused involved in the murder of seven people here on Saturday. Kharian DSP revealed that the accused were netted by a special surveillance team led by the Gulyana Police SHO.

It may be recalled that on Jan 2, 2012 a Bank Manager Raja Muhammad Sharif along with six other people including Punjab Police security personals was killed near Mouza Gulyana.

The alleged killers after the incident made their good escape, but now they have been arrested. The incident had created a wave of terror in the area and the people felt insecurity. Hence, The Gujranwala RPO took serious notice of the situation and ordered immediate arrest of the accused.

As per detail, unknown burglars sneaked into a famous departmental store on GT Road side and after stealing goods worth lakhs of rupees, fled away here the other night.

Similarly, some accused during loadshedding broke the locks of a shop and decamped with merchandise worth of Rs50,000. Meanwhile three person forcibly entered into the house of one Nazir Ahmed, son of Sakhi Muhammad at midnight during loadshedding and opened indiscriminate fire at him. Consequently, Nazir Ahmed injured seriously. The local police was investigating.
