SARGODHA - Pickpockets deprived dozens of people of their money, cellphones and other valuables during the prime Minister’s public gathering at Company Bagh on Saturday. Huge contingents of police present there but they could not step up their presence.
Meanwhile, scores of people staged a demonstration against unbridled power loadshedding, inflation and poverty at Sheheen Chowk outside the venue of the prime minister’s public meeting at Company Bagh, Sargodha, upon his arrival.
Holding banners and placards, they shouted slogans against the government. Some of the protesters also waved their shoes in the air. Later, they dispersed peacefully.
