KHAIRPUR - The central executive committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) in its meeting on Saturday unanimously elected Pir Pagaro Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi as new president of the party.
The meeting held at Dargah Pir Jo Goth was attended, among others, by its acting president (PML-F) Sultan Mehmood, general secretary Anwar Sheikh, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, Faqeer Jadam Mangrio, Provincial Minister Imamuddin Shoukeen, Sayed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Khuda Bux Rajjer, Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi, Pir Ali Gohar Shah Rashidi.
Addressing the gathering, newly-elected president Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi thanked the partymen for reposing confidence in him.
He said PML-F was working for the betterment of state and its people and he would continue the policies of his father, Pir Pagaro Shah Mardan Shah Rashidi. He said he would try to unify all factions of the PML apart from strengthening his party.
