NOWSHEHRA VIRKAN - MNA Tassadaq Masood Khan has said that the Pakistan People’s Party government is working for the supremacy of law and strengthening of democracy in the country.

He said that it was for the first time in history that a democratically elected government was going to complete five years tenure.

Addressing to party workers here the other day, he said that the PPP wanted upcoming general election on time at any cast and no delay in this regard would be tolerated, he added. He vowed that the PPP government was keen to hold free fair and transparent elections in the country in time.

He said that the PPP was a party of patriots, devoted workers and martyrs who knew how to save democracy and beloved country.

He further said that the PPP was following on the charter of democracy and giving the same importance to all political parties.

The MNA said that peaceful solution of the Tehreek Minhajul  Qura’an long march issue without using any kind of arms was a success of the democratic government.

While criticising the Punjab government, he said that funds of billions of rupees were being wasted by the Chief Minister on unnecessary projects including distribution of laptops, Daanish Schools and Yellow Cabs.

Speaking on the occasion, PPP Tehsil President Rao Ishtiaq Ali said that elements plunged the country into deep crises would be rejected by the masses in upcoming general elections. He said that Benazir Bhutto was symbol of federation and the party would take revenge of her assassination through vote.

Speaking on the occasion, PPP local leader Haji Iftikhar Jaral said that the government was following the vision of Benzair Bhutto Shaheed.

Revolutionary steps in different sectors had taken by the PPP govt to boost the economy, he added.
