ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) G-10/4 won the Federal Board Inter-collegiate Girls Cycling Championship held at Pakistan Sports Complex track on Tuesday. Talking to The Nation, Director Sports FBISE Fouzia Maroof said: “IMCG girls won the title with the total time trial of six minutes and 56 seconds while Bahria College E-8 remained second with time of seven minutes and 37 seconds and third position went to IMCG F-7/2 with time of eight minutes and 28 seconds.” “IMCG G-10/4 were lacking way behind in the early part of the race and it was expected that Bahria College girls would lift the title but to the great credit of the IMCG G-10/4 girls, they never lost heart and in the final stages, they piped the rivals and won the event.”–Staff Reporter
