LAHORE - The sole purpose of life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was to spread the message of Allah and to relieve mankind from the bondage of false ideas and beliefs.

These ideas were expressed by a Jamat-ud-Dawa leader Hafiz Abdul Rahman Makki in his lecture on “The Holy Prophet (PBUH) as Commander-in-Chief” delivered at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan under the aegis of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) participated in 28 military expeditions and battles during his lifetime, Makki added. “As Commander-in-Chief of his army, he combined in himself the rare qualities of a true and inspiring leader, such as bravery, courage, perseverance, absolute bravery, great planning skills, etc. The seminar was attended by a large number of religious scholars, students, teachers and people from different walks of life.

Hafiz Abdul Rahman further observed that no personal interest was involved in the holy war advocated by Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). It was only conducted to break the chains of ignorance and shackles of false beliefs so that man could be acquainted with his own worth and helped to attain his high place among the scheme of things by worshipping the one and only God.

Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Secretary Shahid Rasheed observed that Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Dr Majid Nizami had always been exhorting the nation to be fully prepared to face the Indian aggression and desist from striking any friendly deals until the resolution of the Kashmir issue and the water aggression of India.
