LAHORE  - Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh Salman Rafiq has said that health workers administering polio drops to children would be provided proper security in Punjab.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, he condemned terrorist attacks on polio teams in parts of the country and expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives.
He said that those killed while performing duty were martyrs. He said that such cowardly acts could not demoralise government or the masses.
 He said that he would personally accompany polio workers in the field and government would deal with the miscreants with an iron hand.
