Dar dubs PTI view on JC 'illogical'

ISLAMABAD - Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has termed PTI view "illogical" on formation of judicial commission to probe alleged rigging in general elections.
Dar, who is government's key negotiator to resolve the prevailing political stalemate with PTI, Wednesday said that the government has dispatched a detailed reply to Jahangir Tareen's letter.
He said that the government's reply highlighted weaknesses in claims made by the opposition party.
"Tehreek-e-Insaf is backing out from its previous point of view on proposed judicial commission," the finance minister claimed.
He also alleged that PTI wanted to save itself from getting exposed.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI General Secretary Jahangir Tareen had written a letter to Ishaq Dar, informing the government about terms of references (TORs) proposed by the party.
