KP govt recruited over 40,000 teachers: Khattak

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak says the provincial government has recruited more than forty thousand teachers and provided missing facilities in twenty thousand schools, reported Radio Pakistan.

Addressing a public gathering in Nowshera, he said the shortage of doctors and other allied staff has also been overcome in hospitals.

The Chief Minister said two point four million people will benefit from the Sehat Insaf Scheme by the end of this year.

On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of an international standard gymnasium in the area, which will be completed at an estimated cost of about two hundred and twenty million rupees.
