PESHAWAR - Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Sami chief Maulana Samiul Haq has said that the country is passing through a critical phase while politicians are busy in using abusive language against each other, which he termed regrettable.
No one’s life including the honor of innocent teenage girls is secured in the country. To overcome all the challenges, the solution lies in enforcing Islamic Shariah in the county, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, who is also President of Difa-e-Pakistan Council said during meetings with his party’s workers at Akora Khattak on Sunday.
To replace the current system, he said, the entire nation would have to stand up. The delegations of his party local leadership that met him belonged to district Buner, Karak, Kohat, and Bannu posed full confidence in the leadership of Maulana Sami-ul-Haq. They also discussed party’s affairs, aspirant candidates for upcoming elections as well.
Talking about JUI-S electoral alliance with the PTI, he regretted that some people were negatively propagating against this alliance. He added that his party is a principle-based party and had always stood by its words and commitment.
The baseless news spread by certain elements about the electoral alliance has nothing to do with the reality, he maintained.
About his meetings with some religious figures, Maulana said that such meetings had nothing to do with the restoration of MMA or the electoral alliance with the ruling PTI in the province.
Without mentioning names of the Ulemas who had met him recently at his residence at Akora Khattak, he, however, added that they love Darul Uloom Haqqania and that’s why they visited him. He said that using inappropriate languages by politicians against each other must be stopped.
The JUI-S chief vowed that his party would actively take part along with allied partners in the upcoming elections and asked his workers to be ready for carrying out massive election campaign.
