The under-performing Shoaib Malik has never shown leadership capabilities since he was appointed captain of the Pakistan side. One can imagine the lack of professionalism when the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board is asking an unfit skipper to lead the team in a crucial match. Is it our national team or Dr Nasim Ashraf's NCHD team? I request him to do a favour to this nation by resigning from PCB. It is high time the ruling coalition thought about appointing a new cricket captain, a new Board chairman and a new Patron-in-Chief. -ABDUL RAUF, Fateh Jang, via e-mail, July 8.
