Another HT man 'picked up

ISLAMABAD - Soon after the Islamabad High Court expressed its displeasure over the alleged abduction of two Hizb-ut-Tahrir activists, another activist of the banned organisation was picked up allegedly by the intelligence agencies, according to a spok-eperson of the banned outfit. Osama Haneef, a graduate of NUST and a Telecom Engineer by profession, was picked up in the wee hours of Thursday while he was on his way to his office, said Ahmed, the spokesperson. This is the third activist of HT abducted during the ongoing month of July. Earlier, on July 13 an activist namely Hayyan Khan was picked up in the same way when half of a dozen persons in plain clothes abducted him from PWD Housing Society. Similarly, Imran Yousufzai, HT deputy spokesperson in Pakistan, was picked up on July 12 from outside the house of a media person. The case of Osama is yet to be registered while the cases of two already missing activists have been registered with the Margalla and Koral police stations under section 365 of Pakistan Penal Code.
