LAHORE Minister Livestock and Dairy Development and Agriculture Malik Ahmed Ali Aulakh has directed the officers to present the comprehensive and implementable proposals for the improvement of 22 livestock farms in Punjab. Addressing the special committee meeting constituted by the Chief Minister for the improvement of livestock farms, he directed to replace the poor performance delivering farm superintendents with young hardworking officers for enhancing production of milk and meat. Secretary Livestock Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh briefed that there were 22 livestock farms in Punjab and research was being carried out on various breeds of buffalo, cattle, sheep, goat and camel and out of these 05 were research institutes, 10 were livestock experiment stations.
