KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmakers have been allotted opposition benches in Sindh Assembly. The Sindh Assembly speaker on Thursday allotted opposition seats to the party after its MPs insisted at acceptance of their resignations, despite Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khans return to his office and PPPs support to MQM for two AJK legislative assembly seats. The deferment of elections at the two AJK LA seats had proved a breaking point in the deteriorating relationship of the two parties. Talking to media in the assembly premises, MQMs Parliamentary Leader Syed Sardar Ahmed and Raza Haroon said the party was considering four names for leader of the opposition. Sardar Ahmed said that the Rabita Committee of the party would decide about the mater and an announcement would be made in this regard within next 24 hours. Sources revealed that the names of Raza Haroon, Sardar Ahmed and Faisal Sabzwari were being considered for the position.
