Two die in separate accidents

SARGODHA - At least two persons were killed and six minor student sustained injuries as a result of two separate roadside accidents here on Thursday. In the first incident happened near at Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Town on Sargodha-Khushab Road when a speeding school van overturned after somersaulting. Resultantly, six students severely injured and rushed to the hospital. In other accident, a trailer collided with a car on Sargodha-Lahore Road at Bhagtanwala. Resultantly, two persons identified as Sher Khan and a woman Ulfat Bibi sustained critical wounds and were takwen to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Dramatist selected for award: Renowned dramatist Shahid Nazir Khan has been nominated for the award distribution ceremony which will be held in Islamabad on July 23. Shahid Nazir Khan is selected from a PTV telecast 'Roger which was based on the theme of terrorism and police character. It is pertinent to mention here that Shahid Nazir Khan belongs to Sargodha. He is a social worker, dramatist, artist compare and also a well known lawyer and member of Sargodha DBA. State wheat lying under open sky: The food department official left alone costly wheat at Sial More Flag Centre which was lying under open sky and fled away after committing a fatal roadside accident. It has been learnt that the centre in-charge namely Shahbaz Ahmed allegedly hit two brothers with his car in Chakwal district. In the accident both brothers were killed and Shahbaz with his accomplice had managed to escape from the scene. Thus as he away from the scene the wheat sacs purchased in recent procurement have been lying heirless at Sial More Flag Centre.
